Job Description

  • Establish goals and KPIs while overseeing daily operations of Customer Care, Supply Chain, Logistics, Order Fulfillment, Product Development, Procurement and Accounting

  • Design and implement systems, tools, process and technology that drive operational efficiencies

  • Lead capacity planning efforts for in-house production (Uganda) and supply chain resiliency 

  • Manage monthly, quarterly and annual budget and forecasting process

  • Monitor and evaluate employee performance and develop internal capacities within team

  • Assist CEO in fundraising activities

  • Participate in annual and quarterly strategic planning including but not limited to strategic projects, forecasting, setting key metrics, and capacity planning

Qualifications

  • Minimum 7 years experience in a high level Operations role (Director of Operations or higher)

  • In depth knowledge of different business functions including product development cycle, supply chain, logistics and production

  • Experience implementing and / or working with an ERP in a retail and manufacturing environment

  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills

  • Strong commitment to building an anti-racist organization that is diverse and inclusive

  • Strong communication skills

  • Strong understanding of P & L, Cash Flow, Balance sheets and FP & A

  • Location: Open to remote, Portland, OR preferred.
  • Compensation: Depending on Experience, Health Insurance, 401k, PTO
