SquareTrade Europe is passionate about sustainability and delivering on our commitment to SBTi emission reduction targets through improvements to our service proposition and product innovation. 

The main purpose of this role is to directly support that ambition by continually improving our emissions measurement and reporting capabilities. This involves working closely with internal and external stakeholders, leading emissions data gathering and calculations, engaging across the business and our partners to deliver service and product innovations that deliver emissions reductions and business value.

Job Description

  • Owning the annual emission measurement and reporting cycle, working with internal and external stakeholders to gather data, and calculate emissions 
  • Leading the migration of our emissions data from excel models to an enterprise solution
  • Owning our claim level emissions model which underpins our forecasting and strategic capabilities 
  • Creating and maintaining robust emissions forecasting and scenario planning
  • Setting up a monthly forum and reporting session to track emissions and initatives relating to sustainability
  • Developing a deep understanding of our operations in order to identify new emissions reduction opportunities and working with supply chain owners to develop and deliver these
  • Working closely with our Product and Partnerships teams on new product innovations and offerings which will deliver emissions reductions and business value
  • Working with marketing to and Partnerships to further refine our sustainability messaging
  • Contributing to RFPs where sustainability credentials or content are required
  • Maintaining a view and impact assessment of upcoming regulatory changes in the sustainability space
  • Coordination of annual ESG assessments (Ecovadis)
