Job Description
The Square Compliance team is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Regulatory Program Manager to join our dynamic team. As the Regulatory Program Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing internal controls, risk assessments, compliance with regulatory requirements, interaction with global governance team as well as audit teams, addressing regulatory exams and issues management, as well as implementing and driving the strategy to ensure adherence to industry standards and regulations. The Regulatory Program Manager will report to the Head of Square Compliance and work internally alongside the Compliance Product Managers, Program Managers and the Compliance Leads to enhance and mature our compliance program. Additionally, the Program Manager will also collaborate with other teams at Square and external parties.
Qualifications
You Will:
Work with the foundational teams to manage external audits and examinations for Square Compliance and design and manage any necessary remediation efforts
Help create Square Compliance specific content that is included in the materials and documentations distributed to the Board of Directors across markets following Block’s directions.
Develop program documentation related to the Square compliance program
Work cross-functionally with Block’s compliance governance, Internal Audit, Legal, and other teams within Square to support our BSA/AML Program
Conduct and implement ongoing enhancements to our AML and Sanctions internal controls and partner with internal Testing and Monitoring to action items arising from testing
work with product compliance team on managing the requirements and controls for new product launch and existing product enhancements
Support the end-to-end implementation of assigned programs
Communicate progress and results to all relevant partners
Stay on top of regulatory developments, industry trends and Square roadmaps to guide decisions
You Have:
Minimum 7 years of work experience in a project management-based role and compliance roles
Minimum of 15 years Experience in the governance of an anti-money laundering program within the financial services space
Knowledge in payment regulations or scheme rules
An analytical and metrics-driven approach to create substantiated solutions
Experience collaborating with team members and partners of all levels
Experience working resourcefully and methodically
Experience working in a fast-paced environment with a track record of successfully managing regulatory compliance programs.
Additional Information
Block takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location. U.S. locations are categorized into one of four zones based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.
Zone A: USD $239,600 - USD $359,400
Zone B: USD $239,600 - USD $359,400
Zone C: USD $239,600 - USD $359,400
Zone D: USD $239,600 - USD $359,400
