Job Description
As one of Cash Apps Regulatory Program Managers, you’ll lead complex, strategic and business-critical programs that cut across the organization. Tasked with spearheading and coordinating the delivery of multiple interdependent initiatives, we’re looking for leaders with world-class execution capability and high levels of resilience. Key to your success in this role will be the ability to apply a flexible and reactive approach that suits our dynamic and fast-changing environment, and act as the connective tissue across our cross functional, global teams.
You will:
- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of regulatory programs that are considered the highest priority to Cash App.
- Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Cash leadership, project sponsors, and regulatory authorities, to foster collaboration, gain buy-in, and drive program success.
- Lead cross-functional teams (including Product, Engineering, Data Science, Compliance, Counsel, Law Firms, Regulatory Consultants and bank partners)providing direction, support, and guidance to ensure alignment with program objectives and timelines.
- Execute in high-pressure, high-intensity environments, demonstrating the ability to self-direct and manage tasks independently with minimal supervision.
- Communicate clearly and persuasively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization, providing insights, recommendations, and updates on regulatory compliance initiatives, challenges, and progress.
- Develop reusable frameworks that can help to increase efficiency, to improve communication, and to streamline team activities by reducing confusion.

- You have 8+ years of experience in regulatory programs, risk management, or related fields, with demonstrated success in leading complex initiatives or projects in high-risk environments.
- You have experience in regulated industries (e.g., finance or fintech) and familiarity with regulatory requirements and expectations applicable to publicly traded companies is desirable.
- Experience working in a publicly traded company, preferably listed on NASDAQ or other major stock exchange..
- Your EQ and ability to manage stakeholders across all levels will be just as important (if not more so) than your project management toolkit.
- Ideally, you understand the payments ecosystem.
- You like to keep it real with your actions, be brave with your decisions, do the right thing for all our stakeholders and shape the future with excitement.
Additional Information
Block takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location. U.S. locations are categorized into one of four zones based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These base salary ranges may be modified in the future.
Zone A: USD $163,600 - USD $245,400
Zone B: USD $155,400 - USD $233,200
Zone C: USD $147,300 - USD $220,900
Zone D: USD $139,000 - USD $208,600
