We are looking for a Quality Assurance Specialist to join the Square Financial Services Risk Quality Assurance Team. In this role, you will test transactions against operational procedures and regulatory policies providing feedback and identifying trends. You will work closely with SFS operational teams and Risk management. 

You will:

• Review and test all elements of SFS operational functions to ensure they are aligned with internal practices and regulatory requirements
• Analyze testing results to identify trends and thematic issues relating to operating effectiveness
• Assist in tracking testing metrics across each function 
• Respond to QA escalations and inquiries
• Contribute to continuous improvement of core processes to ensure quality is maintained while efficiency is optimized

You have:

• 2+ years experience in a quality control or quality assurance role 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Self starter that can work independently with minimal supervision
• Working knowledge of banking regulations, risk and industry best practices
• Ability to present and communicate findings to the operations teams, leads and key stakeholders
• Experience in analyzing data, identifying trends, and recommending strategies to remedy issues
• Ability to learn quickly, think critically, and apply problem-solving skills with strong written communication skills and an extreme attention to detail

Preferred: 

• Bilingual in Spanish and English, fluent in both verbal and written.

Block takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location. U.S. locations are categorized into one of four zones based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.

Zone A: USD $37.50 - USD $45.87
Zone B: USD $34.86 - USD $42.64
Zone C: USD $31.88 - USD $38.99
Zone D: USD $28.13 - USD $34.38
