Job Description

You will support Cash Customer Operations (CCO) Third Party Response (TPR) function; this team provides comprehensive management of all external data and response to external parties (external to CCO) including regulators, examiners, business partners and legislative authorities arising during regularly scheduled examinations, audits, internal audits, ad-hoc inquiries or litigation matters.

Directly reporting into TPR Response Lead, you will support Cash’s vision by working together with TPR Response Coordinators, Compliance, Counsel, Data Science, and Operations teams to support the management of CCO related inquiries arising during audits, regulatory examinations, litigation inquiries  and other ad-hoc independent requests.

You will:

  • Assist in gathering, reviewing, and documenting all of the artifacts necessary for the delivery response; including appropriate retention of such deliverables
  • Assist in the creation of executive-level documentation in response to regulatory matters
  • Facilitate and communicate all Business Critical Milestone to all impacted stakeholders 
  • Assist and ensure detailed documentation and artifacts are in place and available to evidence completion of program milestones, deliverables, and tasks. 
  • Ensure proactive management of deliverables such that issues and risks are escalated promptly to allow for timely remediation and delivery of the project/program as scheduled
  • Assist in tracking of management of corrective action commitments related to issues identified during the response
  • Implement excellent data governance and record keeping practices.

Qualifications

You have:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent; or are a recent law school graduate
  • 4+ years financial services experience
  • Experience in a Legal or Compliance department of a financial institution
  • Self-starter and solutions-oriented and not easily discouraged
  • Knowledge and understanding of regulatory reporting instructions
  • Analytical, critical thinking and problem solving capabilities
  • Able to effectively manage multiple priorities while working both independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • organized and capable of prioritizing based on business demands

Even better:

  • Prior experience with U.S. regulations (including but not limited to the Federal Reserve and the Office of Comptroller of the Currency)
  • Experience with GRC tools/Exam Management Tools  
  • Experience with Jira, Asana, & Slack

Block takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location. U.S. locations are categorized into one of four zones based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.

Zone A: USD $85,900 - USD $104,900
Zone B: USD $79,800 - USD $97,600
Zone C: USD $73,000 - USD $89,200
Zone D: USD $64,400 - USD $78,800
