You will join the Authentication and Identity team (AID).

The team is responsible for building scalable, performant and resilient solutions for authenticating and authorizing clients interacting with TIDAL APIs. It is also responsible for maintaining the TIDAL user database and services, taking care of registration, authentication, data security and management of personal information.

All this is achieved through the implementation and maintenance of several microservices and serverless functions running on AWS.

We are early adopters of new technologies and have an ambitious roadmap that will lead to impactful platform changes.

This position will report to the team lead and will be part of the Platform Foundations vertical, in the TIDAL engineering organization. 

You Will:

• Plan, design, build and maintain solutions to improve our authentication and user management platform
• Experiment with new solutions and always look for innovative ways to improve our product. 
• Build solutions to support our API and Streaming team, among others
• Belong to a diverse, inclusive and energetic group of highly motivated developers who support each other and work together to solve problems in an agile manner. 
• Play a key role in planning/scoping of roadmaps and projects, from start to finish
• Use your experience in software development and technical skills to advise teammates on best practices, technology, and architecture decisions.

You have 5+ years experience with:

• Java and Spring Boot
• Cloud-native integrations (preferably AWS)
• RESTful APIs and API-driven development
• Serverless and microservices
• Docker
• oAuth2 or similar solutions (preferred)
