This role will support our Afterpay APAC Sales & Account Management functions, which guide our largest sellers’ journeys onto Afterpay. You will report into a Finance and Strategy team lead.
You Will:
Perform in-depth financial analysis on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis for APAC business, identifying and assessing underlying trends and highlighting opportunities and risks
Assist with the annual budget setting, quarterly forecast and associated reporting and commentary
Develop and maintain various reports and models used for reporting, analysis, forecasts and budgets
Provide regular analysis and reporting for key cost lines and ongoing analysis and insights on merchants performance including merchant portfolio composition and pricing
Prepare ad-hoc financial analysis to support our decisions and investment priorities
Partner with the broader finance & strategy team and other business units to deliver continuous improvement in processes and ways of working
Qualifications
You Have:
Two to four years of professional experience including 3 years’ experience such as working in FP&A or business partnering, and/or in an analyst role in either an investment bank or management consulting firm
Excellent proficiency in financial modeling and Excel (there will be a case study)
Bachelor's Degree in finance, economics or related business field
A desire to work with the team to achieve common goals
Even Better
Experience with SQL and data visualization tools (Looker, Tableau)
Experience in a retail and payments/technology and/or public company with global operations
