We are looking for a Finance & Strategy Senior Analyst to join us at Block and help scale Cash App and Afterpay's expanding suite of global payment network products. You will work closely with the Sales team and play an essential role driving pricing and strategy as we negotiate with key partners.

• You Will:

• Advise on complex deals: You will partner across departments to analyze deal terms and develop custom pricing proposals for some of the most influential brands
• Influence strategy: You will contribute to comprehensive monetization strategies that span partner segments for both Cash App and Afterpay
• Conduct original analyses: You will support stakeholders around the business to create competitive pricing analyses, opportunity sizing, performance monitoring, etc.
• Drive process improvements: You will work on principled financial decision-making frameworks that help the business balance growth and profitability

• You Have

• 2-4 + years experience in an investment banking, sales analyst, pricing, or finance position 
• A Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or other relevant field
• Excellent financial modeling skills (you should be prepared for an Excel-based case study)
• Excellent business acumen and communication skills
• Ability to execute independently and engage with team members of all levels

Block takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location. U.S. locations are categorized into one of four zones based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.

Zone A: USD $125,600 - USD $153,600
Zone B: USD $116,800 - USD $142,800
Zone C: USD $110,500 - USD $135,100
Zone D: USD $100,500 - USD $122,900
