Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Analyst who will work as part of TIDAL’s Finance & Strategy team. You will play an integral role in TIDAL’s success by partnering cross-functionally to drive efficiency and unlock growth for the business. You will support the team with financial planning and developing strategic analysis. Finance & Strategy team members have an intimate understanding of the business and industry, use analytical methods to evaluate business trends, answer questions with data-driven insights, and communicate relevant recommendations to business leads.
You Will:
- Take ownership of the financial operating model for the streaming business and support forecasting subscribers, revenue and gross profit.
- Analyze business performance and communicate important takeaways to TIDAL and Block leadership, Block’s Board of Directors, and Investor Relations team.
- Partner with Marketing and Product teams to support user acquisition and retention initiatives, including building models to evaluate LTV to inform investment decisions.
- Provide analytical support to Business Affairs and Legal on licensing negotiations with major record labels and publishers.
- Support TIDAL F&S in long-range and annual planning processes.
- Build trust with cross functional partners and senior leadership.
Qualifications
You have:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or other relevant field
- 3+ years of relevant experience (e.g. management consulting, investment banking, strategic finance)
- Self-starter and team-player mentality, and willingness to work in unstructured environments
- Ability to develop solutions to solve complex or ambiguous problems
- Excellent proficiency in financial modeling (there is a case study as part of the interview process)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional judgment and maturity, including an ability to execute independently and work with team members of all levels
- Commitment to Block’s purpose of Economic Empowerment
Even better:
- Experience in direct-to-consumer subscription services, music and/or entertainment
- Experience with different data tools (e.g. Databricks, Tableau, Looker)

Block takes a market-based approach to pay, and pay may vary depending on your location. U.S. locations are categorized into one of four zones based on a cost of labor index for that geographic area. The successful candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future.
Zone A: USD $125,600 - USD $153,600
Zone B: USD $116,800 - USD $142,800
Zone C: USD $110,500 - USD $135,100
Zone D: USD $100,500 - USD $122,900
