Job Description
Block is looking for a Compensation Analyst to support its growing population and work with HR, Talent Acquisition, and the Total Rewards team to ensure our compensation programs are operating effectively.
You will work with recruiters on new solutions to ensure that compensation is aligned with talent, simple and competitive.
Qualifications
You will:
Review and approve new hire offers presented by recruiters
Plan and communicate compensation structures and programs to recruiters, HR Operations, HR Business Partners and Hiring Managers to help answer questions and help evaluate job levels and other general comp inquiries
Partner with compensation team members on the compensation bench-marking and market research process; evaluate and perform analysis on pay market positioning, salary structures, and pay mixes to ensure market competitiveness to support overall compensation strategy
Develop compensation reports and tools to inform compensation program decisions and forecast and analyze compensation outcomes
Produce ad hoc analyses based on business requests and recommend corrective or alternative actions to resolve compensation-related needs
Help develop and execute compensation programs such as annual reviews and promotions
Develop concise slides or training materials to illustrate and communicate compensation related information
You have:
2 or more years of experience in compensation in a professional environment. A background in Mathematics, Finance, Statistics, or Economics
Experience building compensation systems and scaling processes with company growth
Excel/Google Sheets skills are required to analyze data and create meaningful, understandable models and reports
An interest in sales compensation and incentive plan design
