We're making a hardware wallet for the next 100M bitcoin users. Our goal is economic empowerment -- starting with bringing easy-to-use, reliable self-custody to a global audience. We're assembling a team deeply experienced in an extremely wide range of disciplines, including business, operations, design, software, hardware, security, and so many other aspects of product delivery. We are hiring a fullstack engineer to build the software customers use to interact with our hardware wallet.

You will:

• Ship a non-custodial, hardware-enabled bitcoin wallet to a global audience

• Influence and define the future blockchain and cryptocurrency technologies leveraged in the wallet, Block and the broader industry

• Build our customer facing web presence for customers around the world to buy our bitcoin wallet

• Collaborate with our creative and product designers to bring magical experiences to customers on the web

• Work with product managers and data analysts to help build custom solutions for payments and logistics for a worldwide customer base

• Define our future product offering beyond our mobile application

• Make key architecture and platform choices, leveraging existing Block infrastructure and best practices where appropriate and and forging a new path when our unique needs require it

• Collaborate with mobile and backend engineers, product managers, and infrastructure and service teams throughout the company

• Own testing, observability, and maintenance for the solutions you and the team create

You have:

• 6+ years of Software Engineering experience

• Experience developing frontend customer facing applications as well as working fullstack on backend services

• Empathy for your customers and colleagues

• Interest in the opportunities and challenges that come with building a new product area from the ground up
