Job Description

This is a good opportunity for someone ready to step up into their first manager level role, as our ANZ Media Manager! In this role you will deliver successful media campaigns working across our ANZ Marketing teams and our Merchant partners. You will be a subject matter expert in all things media and ensuring all our activities ladder up to our strategic goals in Australia & New Zealand.

You will champion and implement the media strategy within ANZ and be a conduit between all teams, within our marketing function. And most importantly, you are a passionate Afterpay advocate and what we stand for, for both our customers and our merchants.

You Will:

  • Work with our agency teams to interpret briefs and develop effective advertising strategies to achieve our business goals

  • Ensure all planning, buying and implementation is aligned with the media strategy and all campaign plans ladder up to the strategic goals of the business

  • Manage the execution of all media activities across ANZ including optimization, campaign measurement and effectiveness.

  • Deliver post campaign analysis and make recommendations

  • Build partnerships with our media agency, and the broader agency village, to plan, execute and report on all media activities

  • Engage and collaborate with multiple stakeholders, both internally and externally, to deliver best in class media campaigns

  • Be the key relationship for our agencies and media partner, managing media operations, building and improving processes and ways of working across all relevant teams

  • Manage all media budgets and financial processes, and ensure accuracy in invoicing and media reconciliations

Qualifications

You Have:

  • You have 5+ years marketing experience with minimum 3+ years media experience

  • You understand the media landscape within ANZ and can identify relevant opportunities for innovation and testing in media

  • You thrive being part of an agile, fast paced environment and pride yourself on being able to build strong relationships across teams; both remotely and in person. You don't see challenges, you find solutions!

  • You have an advanced knowledge of digital channels from a planning/format/capability perspective (paid social, OLV, digital display, paid search)

  • You have some knowledge of and experience with offline / ATL channels (planning and buying experience is beneficial)

  • You have an analytical mindset, you know how to overcome challenges using data.

  • You can intelligently apply data insights to recommendations / next steps, and have the confidence to present these to a wider audience.
