Job Description
This role has the option to be fully remote anywhere in the UK.
As a Technical Writer, you'll be a key member of the Global Merchant Services Team, responsible for providing our merchants with world class information. Merchant Services delivers the fastest, lightest experience in the BNPL space. We will design and deliver creative solutions that maximize commerce while acting as the single point of accountability to the merchant and to Clearpay. Our experts will deliver best-in-class experiences for both buyers and sellers. This global team operates a follow the sun approach having teams based in the UK, US and ANZ. This role gives the opportunity to shape how we communicate with our merchants and create an exceptional first impression.
This role reports to the Performance Improvement Director based in the UK.
You will:
- Establish an in-depth understanding of Clearpay Integrations, possessing an understanding of our product suite, our integration patterns, and application in the market.
- Create easy-to-understand product documentation to improve the ease-of-integration for merchants wishing to offer Clearpay.
- Work with internal teams to understand product documentation requirements to create internal training materials
- Analyze current content, processes, and tools and make improvements as necessary, working through jira ticket requests for updates and additions.
- Maintain the Global Merchant Services Knowledge Base

You like to keep it real with your actions, be brave with your decisions, do the right thing for all our stakeholders and shape the future with excitement.
You will have a track record of digesting and providing technical information and experience in:
- 2/3 years experience in technical writing
- Communicating complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Writing and publishing SDK or API documentation for a technical audience.
- Interpreting example code so that it can be explained to users.
- Working closely with engineering, product, and merchant facing teams to ensure quality and accuracy of content.
- Working with Documentation and CRM Software.
- Working with Salesforce, Guru, Jira
- Preferably having worked within the Ecommerce industry, including Payments
- BA/BS in Computer Science or English or equivalent work experience.
