Job Description

As our Talent Brand Lead for Cash, you’ll be a critical member of the Talent organization, responsible for designing our talent brand strategy and building a program to attract, engage, and expand our audience. You will be responsible for producing all external-facing talent focused engagements and work closely with internal and external partners to drive initiatives reflecting our values as an organization. Our objective is to lead with authenticity for every interaction with prospective employees. A critical component of this role is to help us sharpen our employee value proposition in an effort to reach global communities.  

You will:

  • Own an editorial calendar and curate content that tells our story as an employer to the world

  • Identify opportunities and the appropriate channels (e.g. careers page, LinkedIn, etc.) to shape and increase awareness of our employer brand while driving hiring initiatives

  • Track, analyze, and report on performance metrics to inform the value of these initiatives

  • Plan and execute events of varying scale to build awareness within local communities

  • Collaborate with marketing, external and employee communications, and design teams to ensure a consistent brand experience throughout the candidate and employee journey

  • Partner with critical stakeholders to ensure our commitment to an inclusive culture is exhibited across employer brand content

  • Partner cross-functionally with Block talent brand colleagues to align on strategy and initiatives and to ensure there is cohesive branding for all of our talent communities 

  • Partner closely with external communications to identify media opportunities to increase awareness of Cash App as an employer of choice 

Qualifications

You have:

  • 8+ years of professional experience, 3+ years of exposure to recruiting 

  • Experience creating a comprehensive talent brand strategy that engages a diverse set of audiences

  • A high level of empathy for individuals considering employment opportunities

  • An understanding of the recruiting challenges growing companies face when hiring at scale 

  • Experience planning recruiting focused events that drive brand awareness and hires with measurable results 

  • A proven record of strong project management and organizational skills to execute on critical activities or deliverables

  • Experience managing employer brand channels (e.g. LinkedIn) Ability to work cross-functionally and make recommendations and drive solutions based on data

  • Consultative communication skills while working with internal and external stakeholders to establish mutually beneficial relationships that drive results 

  • A positive and team-oriented approach to your work
