Job Description
Cash App is hiring our first Lifecycle Marketing Analyst to drive day-to-day analysis and strategic recommendations to inform our marketing activities across segments and product verticals for Cash App’s tens of millions of customers.
As an analytical leader at Cash App, you’ll be using data to identify the best products and opportunities for our customers and collaborate with marketing operations to create impactful, data-driven marketing campaigns that drive measurable business outcomes (i.e. onboarding success, cross-sell, upsell, engagement, retention, and winback).
In addition to supporting a growing portfolio of blast and triggered marketing campaigns and channels, you’ll be a key consultant for the engineering and machine learning teams developing Cash App’s targeting, personalization, and messaging capabilities. You’ll use data and experimentation to motivate the development of new tools and messaging functionality, and develop the frameworks and processes required to rapidly scale operations while maintaining a sky high bar for customer experience.
You Will
Support the ongoing analysis of business performance required to inform marketing decisions on a day-to-day basis
Develop & deliver marketing performance analyses and program recommendations for marketing and product leaders
Be the resident expert in experimental design including A/B testing, incrementality measurement and attribution.
Collaborate with Lifecycle and Product Marketing Managers to create testing frameworks for new channels and creative, ensuring measurability of new initiatives
Own our data infrastructure, including the design and maintenance of ETLs for impact reporting, attribution and monitoring of our communications ecosystem.
Build dashboards, reports, and alerting systems for the ongoing analysis of marketing campaigns, tests, and channels
Work with stakeholders to determine success metrics, forecast spend, and drive performance improvements.
Qualifications
You have
5+ years of experience in a variety of analytical and operational roles: you thrive on combining rigorous data-driven analysis, strong marketing and business intuition, and an ability to work well across a variety of teams to solve complex problems.
Marketing: You’re an expert on details of email, in-app, push and other marketing channels used to reach customers. You’ve been hands-on with the details of campaign targeting, experimental design, optimization and attribution.
Impact Orientation: Strong business acumen, with the ability to translate quantitative data into actionable marketing insights and recommendations. Ability to communicate complex data concepts and reasoning in ways that marketing teams, business leaders, and the wider organization will understand.
Data Fluency: You have experience manipulating and extracting insights from large datasets, and using data to make recommendations and decisions. You have extensive experience with opportunity sizing, measurement and reporting. You have used database languages (e.g. SQL, BigQuery) and visualization tools (e.g. Looker, Tableau) to support your analyses and recommendations.
Ability to Influence: Experience managing cross-functional projects from start to finish and a track record of successfully building working relationships and influencing business partners. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Nice to have
Experience growing a team and building the processes to support a wide range of internal stakeholders.
Familiarity with machine learning product recommendation models.
