Job Description
Square is looking for an International Benefits Operations Specialist on our International People Operations team to help support and leapfrog ahead of Square's growth. Reporting to the International People Operations Benefits Lead, you will be hands-on and you'll partner "horizontally" across multiple teams, understand systems and data to make logical decisions, and help create long-term solutions that can withstand the test of time and growth.
You will:
Be a part of the transformational vision for the People Ops team
Respond to employee queries from employees globally on People Benefits matters
Work with local and internal payroll and benefit teams to ensure the appropriate information is collected and processed in order for Payroll to successfully process
Oversee, and administer existing benefit programs maintaining benefit related employee records, approvals, ensuring good data hygiene, and benefits vendor processing
Help operationalize and centralize existing multiple benefits-related HR processes and internal knowledge
Support operational thoughtfulness and data metrics for operational oversight and reporting
Work with global teams across varying time zones across our APAC, EMEA and America markets
Qualifications
You have:
HR operational experience (e.g., Onboarding, Offboarding, Benefits, Compensation, Immigration, and/or Mobility)
2+ years of HR experience with operational activities
HRIS (including Workday) operational experience
Experience with modern communication and productivity tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Slack)
The ability to remain composed with high volume of activities
A propensity to partner with others at all levels around the world
The instinct to create personal and professional stretch goals and meet them
Your skills:
Bias for logical action with a desire to standardize, scale, automate
Empathy - You always want to understand someone's struggle
Understanding of cultural differences, or change of organization dynamics
