Job Description

As a software engineer on the Money Management server engineering team, you will design, develop, and deliver new banking experiences to make Cash App the best place to store money by making it easy and rewarding to manage one's daily finances and save towards financial goals, through close collaboration across teams and disciplines. The things that you build will create significant impact at scale and will fundamentally change the consumer banking landscape as we know it today.

As a member of the team, you’ll:

  • Partner closely with your team to design, develop, test, ship, and maintain customer-facing features

  • Participate in critical technical discussions and play an active role as a reviewer of design documents and code changes

  • Design and implement systems to work within our microservice and event-driven architectures

  • Hold yourself—and your teammates—to high engineering standards

Qualifications

You have:

  • 2+ years of software development or equivalent experience

  • Drive to find flaws in a system with many moving parts and take whatever steps are necessary to fix them

  • A growth mindset and an appetite in solving open-ended and ambiguous problems

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
