Job Description

As a member of the Flows team, you will be responsible for expanding a core component of Cash App that powers over 50% of the customer experience. This entails scaling our current workflow orchestration system while working with mobile teams to create our next-generation platform. You are metrics focused and are passionate about creating distributed systems that make product development easier at scale.

You will:

  • Own and scale core product infrastructure with significant processing requirements
  • Develop primitives that enable and accelerate exciting new product features
  • Write well-tested code
  • Build incrementally and deploy daily
  • Contribute to the broader tech and open source communities

Qualifications

You have:

  • Boundless curiosity
  • Drive to root cause systems with many moving parts and take whatever steps are necessary to fix them
  • Demonstrated technical initiative and leadership on previous projects
  • Strong track record of learning and teaching as a mechanism to grow as an engineer
  • Ability to exemplify engineering best practices within yourself and export those to your team
  • 3+ years of software development experience
