Job Description

As a Principal Software Engineer working on Cash App's Platform Developer Experience team, you’ll collaborate with our stakeholders, including product engineers, to:

Lead strategic and complex initiatives with clear impact for Cash as a whole
Deliver high quality, impactful technical contributions to achieve broad company goals
Identify and lead strategic, technical decisions across the company and assist organizations to adopt and implement them
Provide insights and technical expertise across a variety of technical areas
Guide company wide architectural direction
Represent engineering to cross-functional peers across the company
Level up individuals and teams
Drives and influences the technical direction of engineering to ensure company success
Attract and retain talented engineers and leaders through interviewing, building internal and external community and fostering a culture of inclusion and psychological safety

Qualifications

You have:

15+ years of industry experience
Boundless curiosity, autonomy, and a strong sense of accountability
Strong desire to perform and grow as an engineer, and mentor other engineers
Demonstrated technical initiative and leadership
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, or equivalent experience
