Job Description

Hiring great talent is critical to the success of any company. The Incubation Recruiting Team focuses on building teams for both established and newer business units including Spiral, TBD, TIDAL, Hardware Wallet, and Bitcoin Mining. We are a team of highly specialized recruiters who adapt to the growth of Block and wherever our mission of economic empowerment leads us.  We are motivated by innovation, working in ambiguous environments, and prioritizing team success. In this role, you will have the opportunity to hire for a variety of roles- both technical and business positions. You will build and execute against recruiting strategies, act as a talent advisor and thought leader to our business partners, and offer great experience to candidates and hiring managers.

You Will:

  • Own the entire lifecycle of recruiting including but NEVER limited to:  kicking off a new search, job description development, building a robust evaluation strategy, sourcing and closing candidates 
  • Provide a seamless recruiting process for both candidates and hiring managers 
  • Partner with I&D, Talent Programs, HRBPs, Compensation, and Finance to ensure a holistic and inclusive approach to recruiting
  • Provide mentorship or indirect leadership on various recruiting best practices
  • Execute against unique sourcing strategies to build diverse pools of candidates
     

Qualifications

You Have:

  • An ability to pivot priorities, iterate strategies and have a passion for agile environments.
  • At least 8 years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience. 
  • 2+ years of experience partnering with hiring stakeholders. 
  • Experience building strategic partnerships with hiring teams and cross-functional team members 
  • Experience building I&D hiring strategies
  • A desire and aptitude in building organizations that take into account holistic team composition and long-term vision.
