We are looking for a Senior Analyst to join our Finance & Strategy team, partnering closely with our Invoices and Staff leads to drive business performance. This includes playing a crucial role in key strategic business decisions, forecasting, and monitoring the ongoing performance of our businesses. You will also support new product launches and analyze complex data sets to surface insights that improve business performance.

The Square Invoices team empowers sellers to build their businesses by sending and paying invoices via web and mobile. We offer sellers tools to run their businesses on the go with features including invoice estimation and creation, taking payments, automatic reminders, real-time tracking and more. The Square Staff team was created to build a comprehensive solution for sellers to manage, grow and pay their teams. From a seller's first hire to their hundredth plus, Square Staff supports the needs of our sellers' growing teams.

You will:

• Develop, enhance and maintain complex financial models and forecasts for new business opportunities
• Monitor, report and analyze business results and communicate key takeaways to senior stakeholders, including identifying opportunities or risks
• Own and drive key investment evaluation processes and foster cross functional collaborations to drive growth
• Lead strategic, high visibility projects requiring cross functional buy-in and analytical support

You have:

• 2+ years of experience focused on financial modeling, forecasting and data analysis
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and/or SQL; experience dealing with large sets of data
• The ability to execute independently and engage with team members of all levels

• Experience with new markets expansion
• Experience with software, internet, payments and/or financial technology industry
