Job Description
Cash App is looking for a dynamic individual to join the Executive Assistant organization, supporting one of our top executives and managing a team of EAs. Our Executive Assistants are strategic partners who hold everything together: from calendaring and travel to reporting processes and team support. You will participate in complex and strategic projects to support Cash’s success. The Cash EA Team is a centralized organization that works cross-functionally. They are the carriers of culture and community throughout the company.
You will:
Provide administrative and strategic support to a leader on the Engineering team
With help build, manage and develop a sub team of engineering focused executive assistants while maintaining a safe, secure, and legal work environment.
Maintain sensitive and complex calendars, requiring coordination with executives, partners, and EAs.
Be an active participant and knowledgeable resource, while ensuring executive preparation and effectiveness.
Find new and efficient ways to create work processes to help maximize your executives' time.
Identify gaps and take ownership of projects; help compile and prepare material and agendas for team meetings, such as all-hands presentations and events.
Maintain confidential information and effectively manage competing projects.
Foster relationships with several cross-functional partners to help support team programs and goals.
Work within our centralized Executive Operations team to provide support, mentorship, and guidance to enhance the team as a whole.
Qualifications
You have:
A desire to teach and mentor other executive assistants. You want to pay it forward.
A collaborative, team-driven approach to executive operations. You aren’t a lone wolf and thrive when working with a team.
Experience partnering with both seasoned and junior leaders.
Good judgment when it comes to matters of strategy as well as matters of the heart.
Exceptional attention to detail, and a burgeoning ability to negotiate.
A nose for culture building, and a creative approach to manifesting that culture through process, programming, and experiences.
Creative approach to problem solving, process design, and execution.
A knack for queuing up decisions, presenting the potential costs and benefits of different choices to guide decision-making.
A keen sense for people - you are able to balance empathy and openness with practicality and self-preservation. People like you, but you’re not a pushover.
The ability to set boundaries and protect your bandwidth without compromising approachability
A positive attitude. You have An open mind and perspective and willingness to move forward.
Humility - Whether you’re leading the project or grabbing your exec lunch, there’s no task too menial. You respect and celebrate others’ skills and partnership, from the janitorial staff to the C-suite executives.
