The Square Financial Services (SFS) team is looking for a bilingual Project Coordinator to support our Operations team within the business financing space with fluency in both English and Spanish. The SFS team at Square is responsible for safely providing funds to our customers to help them grow their businesses. The Operations team on SFS provides a white glove experience to our Sellers, and you will help us explore and determine the best ways in which we can continually enhance the seller experience. In this role, you will work with cross-functional team members to identify important areas to help improve our business procedures, while also looking to mitigate potential risk factors. You will report to an SFS Operations manager and be a part of a team of 18 individuals.

You will:

• Help drive risk-based approaches to improve the overall team's operational efficiency
• Coordinate loan servicing and in some instances, answer customer questions regarding business documents or current loan information in both English and Spanish
• Identify, document and follow up with teams on product enhancements and features
• Develop escalation paths to effectively triage Sellers' needs based on where they are in the cycle of their loan to mitigate risk
• Advocate for our Seller community by identifying trends and suggesting improvements to processes, policies and products
• Participate in ongoing training to maintain current knowledge of BSA/AML and perform BSA/AML duties as required by job function
• Effectively work in a remote or distributed work environment and collaborate with team members over Slack and video conferencing

You Have:

• Written and verbal communication skills in Spanish and English (required)
• 1+ years of professional experience with a financial institution, payment provider, or startup company
• The desire to navigate the unknown and build new procedures and processes
• Experience in direct customer-facing roles
• A propensity to seek feedback and a genuine interest in further honing your skills and work product
• A desire to help others and improve customer experience
• A passion for Square and customers engaging with Square products
