As Product Management Lead, you and the team that you build will develop TBD's monetizable products and platforms. This includes value-added services and products intended to solve pain points in decentralized financial services. You will work with TBD's business and legal principals, Product Engineering team, and cross-functional leads in order to deliver upon TBD's business objectives and product goals.

You are a proven leader who is comfortable with ambiguity, and has deep experience with building platform as a service products for developer facing audiences. You will be a technical product manager who has an active interest in blockchain and decentralized technologies, and is passionate about building the next generation of value added services that can bring the benefits of crypto technologies to mainstream audiences.

You will report directly to the General Manager of TBD.

You Will:

• Build and own product roadmaps, project plans, and clear product specifications that deliver groundbreaking products
• Contribute to the management of products from both a technical and business perspective, collaborating cross-functionally with peers across business, engineering, architecture functions
• Manage ambiguity with comfort in a shifting and evolving environment
• Influence key stakeholders throughout TBD and Block to align intent, resources, and prioritization
• Operate cross-functionally and build partnerships both within TBD and with external partners to deliver excellent products and services
• Foster an environment that enables the team to execute quickly while maintaining a high standard for quality
• Scale the learning curve on new subject areas across domains and technologies, including blockchain, crypto technologies, and decentralized identity infrastructure

You Have:

• 10+ years of experience in product management, which includes building out a product from early stage development
• Experience working directly with senior engineers and engineering management at a platform services company that serves developer audiences
• Coordination between legal, compliance, external partners - to build a functioning product platform that becomes a revenue-driver for TBD
• Collaborative approach: Delivers results with cross-functional teams, and partners with and empowers team members
• Strategic: Experience developing and driving key strategies that shaped an organization; detail oriented but always able to see the bigger picture and make smart strategic choices around tradeoffs that are grounded in fundamentals
• Efficiency: Excellent organization and prioritization skills; ability to work in a past faced environment with ambiguity
• Active interest in blockchain, crypto or decentralized finance to support economic empowerment for everyone
• Experience in one of the following: API/platform as a service, developer-first platforms, open source, inner source, defi, crypto, and fintech
