Job Description
BizOps is short for “Business Operations”. Akin to how a Sales Operations team or Supply Chain Operations team exist to improve the performance of their associated team, BizOps exists to improve the performance and value of the Cash App business as a whole. On the Cash App rocket, we see ourselves as responsible for 3 types of work:
[Business Analytics] Acting as the GPS and Speedometer. Identifying and prioritizing opportunities across the Cash App business using data.
[BizOps] Building new sections of the rocket. Actualizing opportunities through internal and/or external partnership.
[BizOps] Putting out fires. Managing special situations that no existing team is made to handle.
On Cash App, unlike many other companies, product and business teams are the same organization meaning both product and business development have shared objectives and close coordination.
Role Description
As part of our BizOps Team’s rapid expansion, we’re looking to hire an outstanding BizOps Strategy Manager to drive profit growth for Cash App through the execution of cross-functional initiatives and acting as a force multiplier for our executive leadership team.

You will:
Identify and prioritize the highest impact projects to accelerate Cash App long-term profit growth,
Own the end-to-end delivery of large-scoped, cross-functional projects from the analysis and research stage through implementation and execution all the way to transition and go-forward planning.
Create leverage for our C-suite executives by acting as a chief of staff function, serving as a swiss-army knife for business critical tasks that lack a clear owner within the existing Cash App organization.
Partner with Product and Business Leads to stand up new growth channels and business disciplines. Past Bizops projects have included standing up marketing analytics, lifecycle marketing, market research, app store optimization, and SEO.
Qualifications
- Have 8+ years of experience in fast-paced and analytical roles in growth, analytics, business operations, management consulting, or finance; preferably with experience at a high-growth tech company.
Have expert-level capabilities with SQL and data visualization tools (Snowflake and Tableau experience strongly preferred).
Have a track-record of ownership of and profit impact-orientation.
Have a high degree of comfort with ambiguity, and a knack for quickly ramping on new skills and functions. You’ve built products, teams, and/or processes from scratch.
Have strong quantitative and analytical abilities, including experience with business modeling and statistical tests.
Excellent communication and presentation skills. You can frame and distill complex information appropriately for different audiences.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with people outside your immediate team and get things done through influence rather than authority.
