As a Global Supply Manager - Intern on the Hardware Operations team, you will be help manage supplier business partnerships on Square’s Hardware portfolio. In addition, you will help develop and execute sourcing strategies from a wide variety of component manufacturers. 

You will:

• Work cross-functionally with Engineering and Program/Materials Management to achieve best-in-class supply chain nodes and track vendor deliverables. 

• Strategic Sourcing: vendor relationship management, gathering market intelligence and data on potential suppliers. 

• Supply management: work with suppliers to negotiate business terms and ensure Square receives the cost, quality and performance necessary for today's global market.

• Manage any global supply chain disruptions in real time with the support of an international team.

• Risk Management: Analyze technical and business risks and develop strategies for mitigation in a dynamic industry.

• Exposure to supply chain management tools to track supplier and supply chain key metric performances and supply chain key metrics. 

You Have:

• Microsoft Excel and/or Google Suite Skills

• Good communicative skills and ability to work in a collaborative, cross functional environment and multi-task

• Pursuing a BS or MS degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related disciplines. Graduating between December 2022 and June 2024.

• MBA or technical background a plus (but we are also open to undergradates) 

Role Location:

This internship is open to remote based in the United States. Square internships are 12-weeks long.
