Job Description

The Cash App Network Operations Team is responsible for building and managing a scalable payments ecosystem for a fast growing mobile payment app with multiple external and internal partners. Reporting to the Partnership Optimization Lead, you’ll be responsible for driving the strategy and operational excellence for the network card brands. This includes working collaboratively with our partners to innovate, collaborate, and problem solve. 

Your role will be to ensure our ecosystem of money movement is optimized for cost and performance, while exploring new innovative opportunities that position Cash App for future success and growth. You will collaborate with other internal stakeholders to further define and execute ever higher operational standards and best practices. 

 

You will:

 

  • Be a Payments Leader for Cash App, build and maintain key internal and external relationships 

  • Own and optimize strategic partnerships for Cash App through detailed and proactive partner management, working with partners to define, iterate, stabilize and enable new initiatives and features.

  • Partner closely with Product and Engineering to define roadmap to drive growth and use of Cash App

  • Identify and deliver on operational improvements to existing processes and design new processes to sub-linearly scale the operations of an exponentially scaling product

  • Establish and manage the performance KPIs of our partners through recurring reviews to ensure continuous improvement and unlock future opportunities.

  • Analyze multiple sources of data and work closely with data science teams  to inform business decision making and scale operations

Qualifications

  • 6 - 10 years of operations and partner management experience, preferably in a fast moving technology or financial services company

  • Deep understanding of the payment industry 

  • Experience using quantitative data to develop and evolve processes, ensuring scalability with a high volume product.

  • Strong relationship building skills with executives and technical teams & the ability to develop consensus and drive stakeholders to a decision

  • Strong ability to build & leverage cross functional relationships internally and externally

  • Extensive experience with commercial contracts and negotiations 

  • Previous experience working with the Network Card Brands a plus
