Job Description
We are looking for a bright, creative, and hardworking candidate to join our Hardware Creative Studio team as a Program Intern for Summer 2022. The Hardware Creative Studio (HCS) is a newly emerged functional team within the Hardware department. HCS is responsible for the development and execution of all Creative, Packaging and Retail programs for the Hardware department.
As the Program Management Intern, you will be instrumental in the team's adaptation of a project management tool, Asana, and help to coordinate multiple functions of the HCS team. Your key project will be to learn and evaluate the team's current processes, establish reporting and key metrics measurements, and issue status reports on projects in development. You will engage with cross-functional teams (creative, product management, globalization, photo, design, etc), help to create and optimize the intake experience, and coordinate multiple workstreams. The ideal candidate is well-organized, a wiz with Gantt charts, and has a great eye for detail.
Your role will include, but not limited to, some of the below responsibilities:
Lead independent evaluation of our processes, tools and recommend/implement improvements
Populate all projects/programs/products into the Asana work management platform
Create a system for managing traffic of requests from cross-functional teams
Complete implementation across all HCS Program managers
Create program templates based on current product lifecycle processes
Qualifications
You have:
a passion for understanding how creative teams work, their interdependencies and complexities of implementing change
Independent self starter with a focus on process improvements, especially in creative spaces
Experience in a related field preferred (e.g. creative design firm/agency, strategy, consulting)
Experience with program management tools and project management software preferred
Excellent written and oral communication skills, and strong organizational skills
Pursuing a BS or MS degree. Graduating between December 2022 and June 2024.
Role Location:
This internship is open to remote based in the United States. Square internships are 12-weeks long.
