Job Description

The Opportunity
Afterpay’s Marketing team is currently seeking a Marketing Operations Associate to oversee the day-to-day coordination of many tasks across the marketing team, ensuring that the team can continue to move at lightning speed. You will sit at the juncture of multiple business critical workstreams supporting across site merchandising, CRM, retailer relationship management, and general marketing operations.

We are much more than our job descriptions, but here’s where you will begin….

Manage merchant listings on our Shop (website and app) in accordance with Afterpay business goals and merchant requirements.
Develop scalable and merchant-friendly processes to collect sales, promotional, and new product launch information from Afterpay merchants to inform our site, email, and social strategies.
Support Afterpay merchants by advising on best-practices and providing answers to inbound marketing-related questions. You will develop processes to manage a high volume of communications and scale output.
Support campaign coordination, working across the team to support and execute marketing plans across email, app, social, and other owned marketing channels.
Build, execute and QA digital campaign experiences in our CMS to support new content marketing initiatives
Create and update key weekly reports on marketing performance across the site/app; use data to develop insights and report on campaign performance.

3+ years of marketing and/or operations experience, retail experience highly preferred
Excellent communication skills; ability to clearly share insights via written and verbal form
Ability to not only follow prescribed process, but create and improve processes for the team
Demonstrated ability to manage concurrent multiple projects and execute on tight deadlines
Incredible attention to detail
