TIDAL’s Growth team is responsible for TIDAL’s user acquisition and has two functional areas - paid media and organic growth optimization.
As the Growth Optimization lead, you would own acquisition journey optimization, ASO, and offers / speciality plan strategy for TIDAL streaming. This role will collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, web, analytics, and retention to maximize conversion and revenue throughout our sign up funnel, including within our free product.
You would also work closely with our Product and broader GTM team on offer strategy and optimization of our speciality plans (ie - family, student, military), with the ability to introduce new plan types and further monetize users through pricing.
You will:
Analyze user behavior and collaborate with others to identify the highest impact initiatives to optimize new user conversion and implement a testing framework across paid and organic channels
Propose test plans (A/B, multivariate, etc) for critical acquisition journeys, define success metrics, and ensure accurate results methodologically
Partner with stakeholders on the Growth team to recommend changes to optimize acquisition journeys from paid media campaigns
Develop and implement TIDAL’s App Store optimization program - implementing a global strategy for app store optimization across customer segments, location and language for iOS and Android
Oversee general new user offer strategy (ie- introductory pricing, trial length) as well as specialty plan pricing and optimization (family, student, etc)
Analyze, write, and communicate requirements to test hypotheses that make it easier for prospects to become customers
Qualifications
You Have:
5+ years of mobile / app marketing experience for a global app available in multiple languages
Basic HTML, CSS, and Javascript knowledge to build and launch simple web experiments
Experience with ASO a must; experience with SEO a huge plus
Experience with Optimizely, Mixpanel, or similar
Experience with a DTC subscription product
Experience in hypothesis driven outcomes and using data and research to help inform.
Editing and copywriting skills
Experience working with designers and engineers
Deep understanding of acquisition KPIs and complex funnels
