Recruiting Coordination Manager

  • Full-time

Company Description

Square builds common business tools in unconventional ways so more people can start, run, and grow their businesses. When Square started, it was difficult and expensive (or just plain impossible) for some businesses to take credit cards. Square made credit card payments possible for all by turning a mobile phone into a credit card reader. Since then Square has been building an entire business toolkit of both hardware and software products including Square Capital, Square Terminal, Square Payroll, and more. We’re working to find new and better ways to help businesses succeed on their own terms—and we’re looking for people like you to help shape tomorrow at Square.

Job Description

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and effective Recruiting Coordinator Manager to lead one of our Recruiting Coordination teams. In this role, you will serve as an advocate for RCs and the delightful candidate experience that we own. This role will report into our Head of Global Talent Operations.

You will:

  • Manage a group of RCs, removing day-to-day blockers, assessing performance, and partnering other RC Managers and Ops Managers.

  • Own the hiring and onboarding process, bringing organized and energetic RC newbies to Square and ramping them quickly.

  • Own candidate experience initiatives including: consistent candidate experience across offices, swag ordering and inventory management, interview room redesigns and capability enhancements, Candidate CSAT and Glassdoor findings.

  • Partner on operational tasks including: process-change proposals, documentation, tool assessments and implementation.

  • Enhance our team bond by bridging our dynamic team across its locations (SF, NYC, STL), increasing recognition, and planning team events.

  • Support the People Team so you stay up-to-speed on the features and workflows of SmartRecruiters and can best recommend changes.

  • Manage our cross-functional partnerships with AV/IT and OEX.

Qualifications

You have:

  • The kind of initiative that allows you to hit the ground running in any setting. If there’s a hole, you immediately want to fill it, assessing trade-offs and bringing key stakeholders along for the ride.

  • A human-centric approach to your work. Your ability to build relationships makes cross-functional partners excited to work with you, networking and hiring seamless, and your team is inspired by your leadership.

  • You embrace change with a great attitude and feel comfortable with ambiguity.

Even better:

  • Bonus points for previous experience in people management and/or as a Recruiting Coordinator
