Global Android developer The Global team's overall goal is to launch, build and sustainably grow Cash App beyond the US. Global has multiple product work streams who are responsible for enabling new markets, launching new products in existing markets and accelerating growth where we have found traction.
Global Mobile is an engineering team within Global that is responsible for building new products and experiences that delights and supports our increasing global user base. Our mission is to increase our monthly active customers across different geographies.
As an Android engineer in the Global team, you'll be working with our distributed cross-functional product development team of Server Engineers, Mobile Engineers, Designers, Product Managers and Data Scientists. You'll collaborate with us to design, build, and promote a global first approach to app delivery.
- 5 years of industry experience
- Are self motivated and curious
- An ability to uphold a high technical bar while making pragmatic tradeoffs.
- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Computer Science
- Experience working on mobile apps that have scaled to thousands (if not millions) of users
- Experience building localized apps
- An understanding of how to measure impact of your work, including how it translates to the business
