Job Description

TIDAL is looking for a Programming Manager of Music to join our Culture & Content team to curate music experiences and drive engagement within the app. You will be responsible for scheduling the day-to-day programming across the app and projecting weekly and monthly schedules. In short, you are the person that will create compelling programming that will keep listeners returning daily and excited for future campaigns. You will report to the Director of Programming. 

You Will: 

  • Manage the scheduling, curation, and music programming of the TIDAL homepage.

  • Create long-lead editorial schedules based on the programming calendar. 

  • Adjust the day of programming when necessary.

  • Use research and data to evaluate and assess programming, scheduling, and curation. 

  • Creation of campaign and in-the-moment playlists. 

  • Work with the User Experience Team on homepage modules.

  • Collaborate with multiple departments to create the best listening experience possible.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of programming experience

  • A passion and deep understanding of multiple music genres both, current and legacy

  • Knowledgeable of all aspects of the music programming process 

  • Experience with data and using it to make informed programming decisions

  • Expertise in music scheduling software such as Music Master or G Selector  

  • Proficiency in Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets) and Google Sheets

  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment, with flexible hours

  • Experience working as part of a team and independently
