Marketing Operations Specialist, CPG

  • Full-time
  • Alternate Location: Austin, United States

Company Description

Square builds common business tools in unconventional ways so more people can start, run, and grow their businesses. When Square started, it was difficult and expensive (or just plain impossible) for some businesses to take credit cards. Square made credit card payments possible for all by turning a mobile phone into a credit card reader. Since then Square has been building an entire business toolkit of both hardware and software products including Square Capital, Square Terminal, Square Payroll, and more. We’re working to find new and better ways to help businesses succeed on their own terms—and we’re looking for people like you to help shape tomorrow at Square.

You will also work closely with internal engineering teams to enable Square's product teams to leverage marketing tools to deliver messages to the right customer, at the right time. You will report to the Marketing Operations Lead.

You will:

  • Deploy complex multi-message marketing campaigns to global audiences using multiple marketing platforms
  • Contribute to process changes and documentation efforts to improve coordination between cross-functional teams and partners
  • Protect seller experience and channel health by executing QA processes and guardrails
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define scope, deliverables, resources, plan, and timeline for marketing campaigns across email, in-product messages, push notifications, and more

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of experience in email marketing, campaign management, or digital media/ ad operations
  • Excellent attention to detail and project management skills
  • A willingness to learn and a commitment to thoughtful problem solving

Even Better:

  • You can make basic HTML edits
  • You have experience with A/B testing and experimentation
