Square’s Information Security culture is focused on enabling our engineering teams to build and ship secure products. We achieve this by designing, building, and deploying state of the art security alongside our product and infrastructure teams.

Square operates within a complex multi-cloud environment that requires alignment, prioritization and project tracking across multiple teams and business units in order to successfully deliver on initiatives that improve security in the cloud.

You’ll work closely across functional teams to collaborate and ensure dependencies are well known, critical issues are identified and driven to resolution.

You will:

• Manage multiple complex large scale cloud security projects across Square.

• Manage diverse relationships with Infrastructure, Product, Engineering and Operations teams at Square and at acquired companies to assist in the successful execution of cloud security projects.

• Participate in quarterly and annual planning for the Cloud Security team.

You have:

• 5 or more years of project management experience.

• Excellent leadership skills, with demonstrated ability to inspire team members, stakeholders and our engineering customers.

• Technical background and an understanding of how public clouds work and operate. (AWS/GCP/Azure)

• Experience in setting up project schedules and breaking down engineering work across multiple teams and delivery dates.

Even better:

• Previous experience as a security engineer.

• Experience working in/with a Security team.

• Experience working in/with a Cloud Infrastructure team.
