Job Description
We are looking for a commercial counsel with a background in reviewing, drafting, and negotiating commercial contracts to join our Legal team. You will report to the Contracts Manager Lead, Seller Sales and Marketing.
You will:
- Draft and negotiate a wide range of contracts including outbound sales agreements and different vendor services, non disclosure, marketing, and other commercial and technology related agreements
- Review and drafting of RFP responses
- Offer guidance on a variety of legal matters to support executives and professionals in the sales organization
- Provide business-oriented advice by balancing risks and business reward
- Work with members of the Counsel team to develop and improve applicable forms, processes, and procedures
Qualifications
You have:
- Minimum of two years of contracts drafting and negotiation experience at technology companies and/or law firms
- Expertise in drafting and negotiating a wide variety of commercial, licensing and other technology related agreements
- Analytical ability, project management experience and communication skills
- A team-oriented style yet can work with little or no supervision
- The ability to perform well under tight deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with Apttus, Docusign, and other contract management and legal department tools is a plus
- License to practice law in good standing in state where practicing
