We're making a hardware wallet for the next 100M bitcoin users. Our goal is economic empowerment -- starting with bringing easy-to-use, reliable self-custody to a global audience. We're assembling a team deeply experienced in an extremely wide range of disciplines, including business, operations, design, software, hardware, security, and so many other aspects of product delivery. This is a senior, execution-oriented role central to the development of an impactful, highly-visible new product area. This role will report to the functional department lead, but will be dedicated to working on the hardware wallet product.

You Will:

• Lead development of the firmware that powers our hardware wallet

• Make key architecture and platform choices as you build this product from the ground up

• Design and implement testable APIs and a CI/CD approach that ensures the quality of what we ship - and work with our manufacturing test and quality systems teams to leverage existing relevant infrastructure that fits our project needs

• Build reliable tools to support firmware development and product debugging

• Work with engineers across many hardware and software domains, as well as product leadership, to design and realize a seamless and reliable experience for mainstream self custody

• Support the growth of our hardware wallet team and Devices Software Engineering organization through your contributions to hiring, mentoring, and strategy

You Have:

• 10+ years of experience developing for embedded devices

• Experience making broadly impactful architecture choices and learning from the results in a fielded product

• Understanding of software security fundamentals
