As Senior Product Manager — eCommerce Fulfillment, you will lead our end to end fulfillment strategy and critical fulfillment initiatives across pickup, delivery, shipping, and all the ways sellers get their products in the hands of buyers. We’re looking for someone passionate about and well-versed in order fulfillment, able to formulate a strong view on what we need to build (and in what order) to make our sellers successful and achieve our business and strategic goals.
Successful candidates will have a track record of independently leading complex consumer-facing fulfillment experiences, preferably relating to online food ordering for pickup and delivery. This position will require strategic thinking and methodical execution, with an opportunity to drive impact for the millions of small businesses around the world.
You will report to the eCommerce Product Lead for Store Operations & Platform as you partner with Engineering, Design, Analytics, and other product and platform teams across Square to integrate and launch remarkable experiences.
Lead end to end product strategy for a complex and highly critical area, clearly articulating rationale behind decisions
Identify opportunities and develop perspectives on the most impactful things we should be building for our customers
Expertly and openly collaborate with and influence cross-functional partners and stakeholders throughout Square
Deeply understand our customers and their needs, and guide our world-class team to ship remarkable solutions
In collaboration with engineering, marketing, and analytics partners, lead the end-to-end success of projects from discovery to launch
Serve as the point person for your product area to leadership and across the organization
8+ years of product management experience, with 3+ years related to eCommerce and/or fulfillment (pickup, delivery, shipping, etc.)
Strong customer empathy and experience shaping product direction and execution based on customer needs
Ability to both operate at a strategic level and dive deep into the technical details and complexity with ease.
Skilled at balancing long term strategy with the flexibility to quickly respond to changing seller needs
Comfort with ambiguity; the ability to independently lay out and test clear hypotheses, and solve problems without well-defined direction
Natural curiosity and growth mindset, obsession with the details
Experience driving complex, cross-functional product initiatives with a track record of delivering results across the finish line
A hunger to tackle complicated and impactful product & business problems
Strong strategic thinking, problem solving, and logical structuring abilities
