Job Description

As an Affiliate Marketing Manager, you will be part of the Growth Team managing millions in budget helping to build and shape our affiliate marketing channel working with some of the biggest and well-known publishers in the space. You love collaborating with a team and using analytics to shift acquisition tactics in a new and evolving marketplace.

With a fast-paced environment, talented team, and cutting-edge offering, you will be part of a passionate team collaborating on diverse initiatives to grow our subscriber base and customer lifetime value through a deep understanding of TIDAL’s core customer segments. You are customer centric in your approach and are excited to deliver a great overall experience to customers that engage with us across a variety of channels and devices.

This role is based in NYC, and will report directly to the Director of User Acquisition.

You Will:

  • Significantly grow and expand the affiliate channel, growing existing partnerships and recruiting new partners across all categories.
  • Expand the strategic partnerships, launching brand collaborations and influencer campaigns that help expose us to the target audience.
  • Hit and maintain LTV/CAC goals across your channels, owning and optimizing your monthly marketing budget to maximize this metric.
  • Collaborate with an amazing creative team to ideate, test, and scale top-performing messaging and visual creative across your channels.
  • Conduct ongoing offer testing and partner bounties, understanding the trade-offs between CAC efficiency, volume and LTV.
  • Recruit, set up, and maintain affiliate partnerships.
  • Work closely with the Growth Marketing team to run effective tests to optimize acquisition and ensure that all key accounts reach trial targets and receive the necessary exposure across network of sites.
  • Manage tracking links and audits for all publisher accounts.
  • Check on affiliates’ posts, making sure campaign promotions are appropriate, accurate, and reflect TIDAL’s guidelines.

Qualifications

You Have:

  • 4+ years experience in growth marketing, with a focus on affiliates.

  • Proven experience in growing customer acquisition through performance-based partnerships.
  • Experience in affiliate marketing, from partner recruitment to significantly scaling up sales through affiliates.
  • Strategic and analytical with a desire to own the end-to-end process of running several marketing channels.
  • Experience working in tandem with other channels, including PR, Paid Social, and Organic Social/Community.
  • Experience with affiliate platforms like Impact Radius / Commission Junction / Rakuten / etc is a plus.
  • Knowledge of payment models: CPL, CPA, CPC, CPI, CAC, and analytical skills for those figures.
  • Understands the concepts of user segmentation, personas, customer journeys, and lifetime value
  • Has proficiency in applying data to decision making and basic familiarity with Tableau, Looker, or other BI / reporting tools
  • Familiarity with key attribution and tracking tools inherent in a digital marketing tech stack - Adjust, Google Analytics, CDPs, etc
