Job Description
We’re looking for a proactive, strategic, and driven person to join Cash App’s marketing and brand team as our newest Brand Partnerships Manager. This is an opportunity to have a direct impact on the team that defines Cash App’s brand through inventive marketing programs and initiatives. This individual would work alongside Cash App’s Brand Partnerships Lead and our growing team to support the development and execution of strategic partnerships that drive both awareness and cachet for our increasingly mainstream brand. They will oversee the day-to-day project management of our partners, helping to deliver best-in-class entertainment marketing, content, and event programs for new and existing partnerships.
The ideal candidate is a highly motivated and organized individual, capable of delivering breakthrough concepts in support of strategic initiatives. The person in this role will have a major impact on Cash App's global reputation - boosting our brand image, driving brand intrigue, and helping to personalize brand impact.
You will:
Oversee various aspects of partner management and production: from content and program development, collaborating with design, vendor management, logistics, invitations, sponsorships, promotions, and legal.
Develop a keen understanding of what makes our product and culture special and make recommendations around how to express that within the context of a custom partnership
Build and maintain strategic relationships with current and future partners
Manage logistical arrangements for partner programs including detailed budgets, vendor payments, onboarding, etc.
Develop and execute various initiatives from digital to experiential partner marketing proposals and programs that drive consumer awareness, earned conversation and media coverage, industry support and increased engagement for Cash App and its partners
Lead special integrated marketing experiences and physical opportunities to embody our brand
Proactively communicate with agency, media, digital, and brand industries to explore opportunities
Research, measure, and negotiate select partnership agreements
Perform post-project analyses and compile key learnings and results post campaign
Act fast and be willing to make changes when the unexpected occurs
Qualifications
You have:
At least 5-7 years of marketing and brand experience
Incredible attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to collaborate across multiple groups and understand the value of working as a team
Creative problem solving skills with a scrappy determination to do more with less
Ability to lead through influence and work effortlessly across internal teams
Outstanding follow-through and a self-starting attitude
Ability to thrive in a fast paced and highly matrixed organization
An entrepreneurial spirit with demonstrated success in driving new business from concept, to contract, and through the execution phase
Demonstrated experience in bringing concepts to life through written/visual presentations
Strong organizational and time management skills: ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously that are deadline sensitive
Excellent writing, communications, negotiation, and analytical skills
A propensity to take initiative with new projects & fearlessness in making new outreach
The ability to garner support from internal experts and external partners to position Cash App’s product and brand against competition
