Product Manager, Hardware

  • Full-time

Company Description

Square builds common business tools in unconventional ways so more people can start, run, and grow their businesses. When Square started, it was difficult and expensive (or just plain impossible) for some businesses to take credit cards. Square made credit card payments possible for all by turning a mobile phone into a credit card reader. Since then Square has been building an entire business toolkit of both hardware and software products including Square Capital, Square Terminal, Square Payroll, and more. We’re working to find new and better ways to help businesses succeed on their own terms—and we’re looking for people like you to help shape tomorrow at Square.

Finally, you will partner with product marketing to ensure your product is getting to the right customers.

You Will:

  • Develop a clear understanding and be able to articulate who is using your product, why they selected it, what gaps it has and what aspects are most important to your target customers through regular conversations with our sellers.

  • Maintain a prioritized product roadmap for the next 12 months with clear product requirements and business justification for each element on the roadmap.

  • Be the first line of triage for new field issues. Investigate new field issues to provide the relevant technical teams with a place to start and a sense of importance / urgency.

  • Be the primary contact for other product teams, support, sales for all aspects of your products.

  • Lead alpha and betas programs for your products.
