The Cash App product compliance team is looking for a Crypto Product Compliance Manager to support the creativity of our Crypto product, by providing subject-matter expertise in industry best practices and the global regulatory landscape. You will  utilize your knowledge of crypto and virtual asset service provider (VASP) rules, recommendations and regulations (Travel Rule, record keeping, unhosted wallets, NYDFS, ICO, etc). As well as expertise in global AML compliance and sanction laws to establish regulatory go-to market strategies and global expansion planning for multiple product offerings. This person will also project manage the product launch process with various compliance operational teams and define applicable compliance metrics for the Crypto products. You will report to the Head of Product Compliance and will play a pivotal role in helping build compliant world class digital products and features.

You will:

• Support expansion for new Crypto product launches by scoping and defining product and compliance requirements

• Participate in the review and negotiation of partner contracts to ensure consistency with existing processes or highlight changes needed to integrate for future growth plans

• Determine regulatory and operational compliance requirements for domestic and international markets

• Advise Crypto Product team on Compliance operational process and regulatory requirements across various markets

• Design go-to market strategies that comply with applicable regulatory obligations for all Crypto products, programs and strategies.

• Determine key data and operational requirements of new product initiatives, including partnering closely with compliance operations, risk management, legal and customer success teams

• Build a tactical road-map and set goals that align with strategic product roadmap

• Design and draft all relevant program documentation, content, and processes

• Remain up-to-date on regulatory landscape and changes, best practices and industry development

• Identify applicable metrics and KRIs for the leadership review

• Participate in annual risk audits

• Communicate product status, initiatives and issues to stakeholders and senior leadership

• Be the expert in product program details, offerings and criteria

• Use creative approaches to new business agendas

You have:

• 6+ years experience in regulatory compliance management, including AML and Sanctions

• 5+ years experience in applicable global crypto regulations experience

• 5+ years experience in blockchain expertise

• 3+ years experience in Project management experience

• Knowledge of various types of cryptocurrencies, offerings and uses

• Experience drafting policies procedures

• Legal background or JD

• Knowledge of Global AML compliance and Sanction regulations

• Knowledge of global payments rules and regulations is a plus
