Fraud Program Manager-Account Takeover

  • Full-time
  • Alternate Location: St. Louis, United States

Company Description

Square builds common business tools in unconventional ways so more people can start, run, and grow their businesses. When Square started, it was difficult and expensive (or just plain impossible) for some businesses to take credit cards. Square made credit card payments possible for all by turning a mobile phone into a credit card reader. Since then Square has been building an entire business toolkit of both hardware and software products including Square Capital, Square Terminal, Square Payroll, and more. We’re working to find new and better ways to help businesses succeed on their own terms—and we’re looking for people like you to help shape tomorrow at Square.

Job Description

We are looking for a Fraud Program Manager who formalizes Fraud Policy across Square's global markets. This includes analyzing fraud trends (including Account Takeover) and high loss events to create global fraud detection policy and capture insights to inform sprint team strategy and operational procedures. You have a understanding of fraud risk and experience with quality assurance, L&D and workforce management programs to ensure that the core operations team has the support they need to perform their jobs well and create strong feedback loops. In addition to formalizing fraud policy, the Fraud Program Manager will create new policies for Square's latest products, scope manual vs. automated work and refine operational processes as new plans are shipped.

  • Develop and document comprehensive policies for the Global Fraud Operations team (specific to Account Takeover)

  • Analyze and investigate high risk accounts and gather insights
  • Develop internal relationships across risk partner teams (Risk Strategy & Analytics, Risk Product Management, Data Science, and Engineering) and essential company partners (Product Managers, Legal, Customer Success, Compliance, Account Management)
