Product Designer, Ecommerce

  • Full-time
  • Alternate Location: Seattle, United States

Company Description

Square builds common business tools in unconventional ways so more people can start, run, and grow their businesses. When Square started, it was difficult and expensive (or just plain impossible) for some businesses to take credit cards. Square made credit card payments possible for all by turning a mobile phone into a credit card reader. Since then Square has been building an entire business toolkit of both hardware and software products including Square Capital, Square Terminal, Square Payroll, and more. We’re working to find new and better ways to help businesses succeed on their own terms—and we’re looking for people like you to help shape tomorrow at Square.

Job Description

As a Product Designer at Square, you will guide design for the Ecommerce Activation team. Your role will focus on activating online sellers and promoting the discovery of new ecommerce features and services, including Photo Studio, Online Apps, and Billing. You will lead design for an innovative product, Photo Studio, and work directly with our photo robot, Marv! You will help shape the vision for a new photo technology service by creating experiences that allow our customers to achieve remarkable product photography. You will also work with the Square Online Billing and Setup teams. This work will span core features and iterative improvements that help merchants to quickly launch and grow their online business. This is a cross-functional role—you will work with other designers, product managers, engineers, analysts, and researchers.
