As a Product Designer at Square, you will drive design execution for our Ecosystem Onboarding team—including experiences like signing up and getting started with Square's broad offering of products and hardware. Ecosystem onboarding offers a unique challenge that requires designers to solve for many products and platforms in parallel. You will oversee the entire onboarding experience that will help businesses of all sizes sign up for the products that best serve them, and guide them to quickly and easily start using them.

Qualifications

You have:

5+ years of professional design experience
A portfolio of work on which you were the primary designer, with moderate guidance from design leadership
The ability to articulate high-level team goals and connect your work to larger team or company initiative

Even better:

You take pride in the quality and details of your work, creating professional, well-thought-out designs using established design systems
You have a strong grasp of design best practices and trends
You can push design systems forward with polish and visual flare
You prototype your work and can bring your concepts to life using motion
You know when to compromise without sacrificing user experience or design principles
You communicate your ideas and work to your direct team and other teams
You seek opportunities to improve your processes and skills
You drive your design projects forward independently
