Job Description

As a senior-level Product Designer at Square, you will be a core systems designer for our Ecosystem Discovery platform team. You will create systems and patterns that are used across our public website (squareup.com) to help our sellers find the best products to serve their business needs and provide consistency throughout their evaluation experience. You will work with your cross-functional teammates to determine strategy and roadmaps, deciding what matters most for our sellers and how we prioritize the work.

Qualifications

You have:

  • At least 7 years of relevant professional experience

  • You have a portfolio that shows work you were directly responsible for 

  • Experience as a primary contributor to multiple high impact projects

Even better:

  • You can leverage existing design systems and standards and work to improve these systems and standards when necessary

  • You form ideas and present them to your cross-functional team to determine strategy and roadmaps

  • You can drive the vision for the product and achieve it through design explorations, documentation, and presentations

  • You can question and collaborate with your cross-functional peers and drive conversations to next steps

  • You can use your years of experience to quickly move projects forward, leveraging domain expertise, establishing principles, and conducting research when necessary
