Job Description
As the Internal Communications Lead for the Cash Team, your ultimate goal is to keep employees connected, engaged, and informed. This will involve summarizing large amounts of complex information, developing new creative formats and channels for delivering and distributing information, and being the face and voice of information flow across the Cash Team.
You Will:
Develop and execute a strategic internal communications plan, aligning messaging with our team’s culture, mission and operating principles
Work with leaders and partners throughout the organization to support proactive and reactive communications needs, determining essential messages and the right channels to deliver them
Develop and author a variety of internal communications including presentations, announcements, blog posts etc. to be delivered across a variety of communications channels
Manage team communication channels to measure engagement, monitor themes, and ensure messaging is resonating with a globally distributed audience
Map all communication channels, identify any problems or bottlenecks and implement new procedures and/or technological tools to optimize these channels for operational excellence
Establish measurements to understand and build better engagement
Develop and manage a team resource center, ensuring information is easy to discover and consume
Qualifications
You Have:
8+ years of hands-on communications, journalism, speech writing or related experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Outstanding presentation skills with experience presenting to and consulting with an executive audience
Ability to develop narratives and implement them in multiple formats including articles, video, podcasts, presentations, videos, and live events; experience filming and editing video is a plus
A resourceful mentality and commitment to getting things done independently
Strong team player and creative thinker
Ability to influence without authority, build strong senior relationships to gain input and buy-in for design and implementation of changes
Highly organized and self-motivated
Previous people management experience strongly preferred
