  • Routinely audit the language used within the app and driving improvements in partnership with the respective product owners.

  • Create and maintain style guidelines on tone and writing in partnership with our systems teams, and develop content standards to be used across the entire organization.

  • Help the team become more efficient by improving processes and workflows

  • Improve our use and approach to language by partnering with designers, researchers, product managers, customer operations, brand and marketing, and other stakeholders.

  • Work with our global team to develop a localization strategy around language.

  • Apply metrics, data, design research, user testing, customer support insights, and more to inform content and language decisions.

  • Manage and prioritize multiple projects with different collaborators.

  • Create and deliver impactful presentations to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

  • Advocate for clarity through language both within the design team and greater product development organization.

  • Create a foundation for a growing content strategy team as our organization scales

Qualifications

You have:

  • 8-12 years of experience writing for user interfaces.

  • 6+ years leading Writing teams at scale.

  • A portfolio with examples of previous UX writing work specifically showing how you improved user experience through language, from interface copy to style guides and beyond.
