Job Description
The Operations Program Manager owns the operational management and supports all Hardware projects within Square. You will manage and lead cross functional teams by creating schedules and communicating risks and priorities through development to mass production. You will also ensure the success of development builds and mass production through factory ownership and by utilizing your operational management experience to manage selected OEMs and achieve team objectives. You will oversee day to day activities with OEMs and Square teams from NPI through sustaining stages, with the top level project goals in sight at all times.
You will:
Work with the internal engineering program management teams and Square's manufacturing partners to ensure new products are successfully developed through to production
Work with the hardware engineering teams during development to prepare EVT, DVT, PVT and Ramp. This includes factory support & build-readiness preparation
Collaborate with the internal partners to coordinate product launch timing, and be responsible for operational readiness of new product
Work with the engineering, quality, and product teams to identify risks and opportunities in manufacturing / production
Manage overall capacity planning (short-term and long-term), including coordination of equipment/fixtures, line and material readiness to meet the product ramp schedule and product buffer strategy
Work with MPM and GSM to ensure component supply meets the build plan based on demand
Drive manufacturing UPH ramp plan, efficiency and work together with Square quality team for yield improvements for post-ramp products
Work with planning team for demand priority and allocation if any MPS shortage
Build relationships with CM’s to ensure high-quality and a predictable supply
Participate in product and process improvement qualification activities and ECO implementation status review with CMs

Qualifications
You Have:
5+ years of relevant industry and project management experience
Experience with Supply Chain Operations and in depth understanding of manufacturing
Excellent communication skills in both Mandarin and English
Ability to travel to Contract Manufacturing partners when necessary and safe during Covid-19
